“53 YEARS OF DIRTTRACKING”

Updated May 14, 2008

This season is underway for the potent “NINE” cars. Carl Graves and the Warrior have had early season success. Carl has had three solid runs since the first race brake failure. Carl has a win, a third and an eighth. These finishes have propelled him to second place in the championship point race. The team really believes that we have a chance to unseat defending champion Carl Billet. We must survive one more race with Billet starting at the front of the field. After that, we will have equal starting spots and the battle begins. The defending point champion has used excellent starting positions to build a 30 point lead over us in the Championship battle. This should get exciting. The “NINE” team feels the pressure already.

The NINE X has earned mixed results so far this season. While starting out strong, being as high as second place in points, a DNQ and a feature crash has pushed them back to thirteenth in points. Crew Chief Ross Leinbach has enlisted the help of the ”Old Man” to right the ship. Ross, Ronnie, Gayle, and the “NINE” crew have worked feverishly to give driver Sam Leonard Jr. the type of finishes he’s been accustomed to. The NINE X has not been without success. They have had ninth and fourth place finishes this season so far.

The Gauntlet’s been dropped. Are we up for the challenge? Only time will tell!

Hope to see you in the winner’s circle again real soon!
